The system is in amazing condition for its age, all working well (tested) and as it should. It’s good for another several years of use.
We refurbish each system. On average each system gets about 4hrs of our time. We fix and refurbish ONLY Bose Wave systems - Nothing Else! - The time we spend on each unit is not just to clean it!! BUT first to repair the ECB board to resolve the common CD ticking issues, then to extensively test all inputs and outputs and connectivity methods, test with multiple CD's and micro adjust (up to 20 tracks), update the firmware, fix broken screw mounts on every system, polish the screen, clean and treat the case with UV protection, take pictures and advertise, test again before packing (packing a system takes up to 30m). The chances of the units getting to in a good working state are guaranteed, the the systems lasting another 5yrs a good possibility compared to all the other systems being sold here on eBay. Detailed Condition: This unit is fully refurbished in superb CONDITION, there may be some minor age related marks (some are to be expected) as you would expect it has amazing sound quality. Please see the pictures as this forms part of the description and for details of any blemishes that may be visible. The Capacitors have been changed on the circuit board, resolving the CD drive ticking issue, and endless 'Please Wait' messages. The CD drives play flawlessly, the optical drive has been serviced and the CD has been tested for 10hrs using 3 different CD’s. The remote is working 100% too. The system has been cleaned from the inside and outside thoroughly. The screen is polished and without any minor or major scratches (Some are always to be expected as it’s the softest part of the system and easily scratches by just cleaning it over time its inevitable). The System is in Great Working Order, and I do believe you will be pleased when you see it, guaranteed - unlike some of the rubbish being sold on eBay! When new this system cost near £500. Postages / Deliveries: No Collection Service - Sorry UK Postage: Unless stated otherwise the system will be sent out via Royal Mail Tracked 24 insured to £100. The units are old and not in original boxes (unless stated above that they are) for transportation but will be packed exceptionally well and no system gets damaged in transit. We send out about 30 units a month so have mastered this art.
Please Note: As part of our service, we can send you a video on WhatsApp, of the system, the remote functions, special functions and best practices etc before packing it. The Bose 2 units can be up to 16yrs old. Bose 3’s up to 10 years old the wave 4 can be up to 7 years old. You are buying this system knowing this and accepting this as wear and tear due to age of materials used by the manufacturer.
Some Old CD's can also be corrupt from age and sunlight Some CD's will struggle to play (old CD's or CD's with 20+ Tracks) The Optical drive is old & with age gets a little tired & unfortunately its just the way it is We test them all with up to 20 track CD's and adjust them to accommodate this at least
!!!Replacement drives are no good - we've tried nearly all of them!!!
